OFFICIAL WARRANTY STATEMENT CONDITIONS OF TENNECO PRODUCT IN EUROPE, MIDDLE-EAST AND AFRICA

DISCLAIMER: This statement is not intended to define, limit, or describe the scope or intent of any applicable statutory provisions nor of any provisions of any existing contracts. In case of discrepancies between this statement and any other official bilateral warranty conditions, the latter shall prevail. All brands referred to in this statement are registered trademarks of Tenneco Inc. or one of its subsidiaries in one or more countries, distributed by Federal-Mogul and/or DRiV (hereinafter collectively “DRiV”).

The parts we supply will correspond with their specification at the time of delivery and will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the duration of the mentioned warranty period. This warranty applies only to defects arising under normal usage conditions of the vehicle with normal wear and tear of the part and proper use of the parts in accordance with DRiV’s specifications, instructions and catalogue. DRiV will accept no liability in respect of any defect arising or failure resulting from unfair wear and tear, willful damage, negligence, use outside normal operating conditions, misuse (racing, rally or motorsports and off-road), recycling or reconditioning, or alteration of the parts or modification of the parts or use of the parts in applications or vehicles other than those specified by DRiV’s own catalogue. The warranty period starts from the date of installation. A warranty service does not lead to an extension of the warranty period, nor does it set a new warranty period in motion.

In the event of a valid warranty claim, DRiV will be liable, at its option, to repair or replace the DRiV’s parts in question free of charge or refund the purchase price of the parts, under normal conditions within a set amount of time, depending on the specifics of the written warranty as explained in the specific sections below.

Our warranty applies independently of and in addition to all your statutory warranty rights, which you are entitled to free of charge in the event of defects and which are not affected by this warranty.

To the extent permitted by law, DRiV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of use, or any third-party claims.

This warranty is issued by: Federal-Mogul Global Aftermarket EMEA B.V., Prins Boudewijnlaan 5, 2550 Kontich, Belgium.

English customer portal: www.drivparts.com/en-eu/claims.html

In all cases, the warranty conditions of the respective partner organization from which the product has been purchased apply. In the event of a warranty claim or for the warranty conditions, please contact the organization where the product has been purchased.

If you are a direct customer of DRiV, Kontich, Belgium, and its direct and indirect subsidiaries in the EMEA region (i.e. you have received an invoice from DRiV directly for your purchases) you can file your warranty claim through the DRiV warranty portal:

Warranty Conditions apply for parts fitted, not for issues occurring before installation, or during transportation and/or storage. Where parts have been returned under warranty to your local supplier, DRiV has the rights to examine all components including any associated parts to determine whether the failure has to do with by how the part has been installed, or if there is a problem with its associated components, or any other reason.

All claims must be processed through the recognized party who originally sold the part. The claim can then be progressed to the organization from which the part originated.
